How big is the GTA 6 map compared to GTA 5?

Everyone says Leonida is huge but is there any real way to compare it to Los Santos and Blaine County?

Rockstar has not published a square mileage figure. What we do know is the game covers the state of Leonida, not just one city, so it includes Vice City plus swampland, keys, beach towns and rural areas. Expect noticeably larger than GTA 5 but the exact number is guesswork until launch.
