Who we are
GTA6Deck is an independent fan community. Operating entity: OWNER ACTION REQUIRED. Postal address: OWNER ACTION REQUIRED. Privacy contact: hello@gta6deck.com.
What we actually collect
This is the complete list — we do not collect anything else.
- Reading the site: no account needed. Our hosting platform records standard server logs and aggregated usage figures (pages viewed, approximate country, device and browser type, IP address in request logs).
- If you create an account: your email address, your display name (taken from your Google account or the first part of your email), and an account identifier.
- What you post: questions, answers, votes and any image you attach, plus the time you posted it.
- Moderation and abuse prevention: reports you send, moderation decisions, and basic rate-limiting information.
- Legal and privacy requests: the details you type into the copyright or privacy forms.
We do not run Google Analytics, we do not sell personal data, we do not build advertising profiles, and no advertising cookies are currently set. See the cookie policy.
What is public
Your display name, your posts, your images and your vote totals are public. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Why we use it
- To run the site and show your posts (performance of our agreement with you).
- To keep the community safe — spam, abuse and copyright handling (our legitimate interests, and legal obligations where they apply).
- To understand which pages are useful, using aggregated figures only.
Sharing
Data is processed by our hosting, database and authentication providers purely to run the site, and by Google if you choose to sign in with Google. We disclose data otherwise only where the law requires it.
International transfers and retention
The site is served from global infrastructure, so your data may be processed outside your own country, including in the United States, using the safeguards our providers put in place. We keep account data while your account exists, and moderation and copyright records for as long as needed to handle repeat issues or meet legal obligations.
Your rights depend on where you live
Privacy rights vary by country, and we do not claim to comply with every privacy law worldwide. Depending on where you are, you may have some or all of these rights:
- EU/EEA (GDPR), UK (UK GDPR) and Switzerland: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Cookie and electronic-marketing rules (ePrivacy, UK PECR) also apply.
- United States: state laws such as those in California, Colorado, Virginia and others may give you rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act), India (DPDP Act) and other jurisdictions: broadly similar access, correction and deletion rights.
Whatever country you are in, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data using the form below and we will handle it the same way.
Make a privacy request
Deleting your account removes your profile and your posts from public view. A small amount of information may be retained where the law requires it, or in moderation and copyright records needed to prevent repeat abuse — we will tell you if that applies to you.
Security
Accounts are handled by our authentication provider; we never see your Google password. Uploaded images are stored privately and served through short-lived links.
Children
GTA6Deck is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account or that a post exposes a child's personal information, email hello@gta6deck.com or use the Report → Child safety option; those reports are prioritised.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change; the date at the top of the page changes with it. See also our terms and all policies.
