Is GTA 6 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?
Grand Theft Auto VI is confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, but it is not announced for Xbox Game Pass. Neither Rockstar, Take-Two nor Microsoft has said the game will be included in any subscription tier at launch or later, and nothing has been said about PlayStation Plus either.
What is confirmed
Grand Theft Auto VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not announced a version for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2 or cloud streaming services.
Buying the game outright on Xbox is the only route that has been announced. There is no announced subscription, trial, or streaming option.
Why day-one Game Pass has not been claimed
Game Pass day-one launches are deals between Microsoft and a publisher, and they are announced by both sides when they happen. No such announcement exists for Grand Theft Auto VI. Take-Two is a third-party publisher and is free to decide otherwise, but silence is not a hint in either direction.
Earlier Grand Theft Auto titles have appeared in subscription services long after their original release. Whether that happens again here is unknown.
What about PlayStation Plus or cloud streaming?
Not yet announced by Rockstar. No PlayStation Plus Game Catalog inclusion, no cloud streaming availability and no trial has been confirmed.
