Is a GTA 6 pre order worth it?
Does pre ordering a Rockstar game actually get you anything useful or should I just wait?

Historically Rockstar pre order bonuses have been small in game cash or cosmetic extras. Nothing that changes how you play. The only real reason to pre order is to preload and play at midnight.

Digital pre orders are refundable up to release on most stores, so there is little risk either way.
